Race Information

The Medal Madness event takes place on September 12, 2026, in Temple, Texas. The start line is next to the Wilson Park Recreation Center at Jams Wilson Park. All runners must register online via RunSignup. There is no on-site registration available.

Course Details

The event offers three race distances: a 5K, a 10K, and a Half Marathon.

The courses are out-and-back loops on a shared path.

The 5K and 10K share a 1.56-mile (3.11 km) out-and-back loop.
The Half Marathon uses a separate 1.64-mile (3.28 km) out-and-back loop. Participants complete the loop a specific number of times: 5K runners do one loop, 10K runners do two loops, and Half Marathon runners do four loops. There is an overall course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
