Medal Madness 5K, 10K and Half Marathon in Temple TX
This event takes place on 09/05/2026 at 2205 Curtis B Elliot Dr, Temple, TX 76501. Multiple race distances are offered and each follows an out and back loop format. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies.
Distances and fees:
- 5K : registration fee $30.00
- 10K : registration fee $45.00
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles) : registration fee $65.00
The 5K and 10K use the same out and back loop; the 5K completes the loop once and the 10K completes it twice. The Half Marathon uses a separate out and back loop repeated four times. Water, a fruit or gummy snack, and a granola bar are available at the starting line; participants can access these items each lap and after the race. Participants may also bring or carry their own nutrition and hydration.
Facilities and logistics note that park restrooms near the baseball fields will be unlocked for participants and operate on an automatic timer that may be affected by Daylight Saving Time. Parking is available near the start. Race Club t shirts are mailed to new club members after registration and no shirts are available on site.
