Event Overview
The Medal Madness event offers three race distances in Temple, Texas: 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon. The event takes place on a Saturday in early September.

The races start next to the Wilson Park Recreation Center at James Wilson Park, located at 2205 Curtis B Elliot Dr, Temple, TX.
Course Details
All courses follow an out-and-back design on shared road loops.
- The 5K course uses a 1.56-mile out-and-back segment, completing it once.
- The 10K course uses the same 1.56-mile segment, completing the out-and-back twice.
- The Half Marathon course uses a separate 1.64-mile out-and-back segment, completing it four times.
A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is in effect. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race start and ends 10 minutes prior.

Registration is required online in advance; there is no on-site registration on race day.
