Event overview
Medal Madness 5K, 10K, & 13.1 takes place on September 5, 2026, in Temple, Texas. The event is based at James Wilson Park, 2205 Curtis B Elliot Dr, Temple, TX 76501. The race starts next to the Wilson Park Recreation Center. All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back course measured as 3.11 miles; the 5K completes that out-and-back once, the 10K twice. The Half Marathon uses a separate out-and-back measured as 3.28 miles and completes that out-and-back four times.
