US Road Running - Temple
The US Road Running event in Temple, Texas, features a series of road races held along a set course at 1909 Curtis B Elliot Dr. Participants can choose from three distinct distances, all of which are conducted on out-and-back routes. The event is part of the US Road Running Race Series, allowing participants to earn points toward the seasonal standings.
The available race distances include:
- 5K: A single loop of the out-and-back course.
- 10K: Two laps of the out-and-back course.
- Half Marathon: Four laps of the out-and-back course.
The event has a total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. All registration must be completed online in advance through RunSignup, as there is no option for on-site registration. Runners can collect their packets during a specific window prior to the start of the race.
Every finisher receives a themed medal upon completing their distance. While not a requirement for participation, the organizer encourages runners to wear costumes. Special awards are issued based on the US Road Running criteria. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
