US Road Running - Temple
The US Road Running event in Temple, Texas, features a series of road races held at 1909 Curtis B Elliot Dr. This event is part of the US Road Running Race Series and is open to the general public. Participation requires advanced registration through RunSignup, as there is no option for on-site registration.
Participants can choose from three different race distances:
- 5K: An out-and-back course completed once.
- 10K: An out-and-back course completed two times.
- Half Marathon: An out-and-back course completed four times.
The event has a total time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all distances. Packet pickup is available at the race location starting 30 minutes before the event begins and concludes 10 minutes prior to the start. All finishers receive a themed medal for completing their respective courses. Additionally, the event allows for costume participation, with a best costume award presented at the beginning of the race. Runners can also earn points toward the US Road Running Series standings.
