Event Details

The Medal Madness event takes place at the Crossroads Recreational Complex in Temple, Texas. The event includes three race distances: a 5K, a 10K, and a Half Marathon.

Course Information

The course is paved. All distances follow an out-and-back route format.

For the 5K and 10K, the base out-and-back segment is 3.11 miles.
The Half Marathon uses a base out-and-back segment of 3.28 miles.

Runners cover the segment one time for the 5K, two times for the 10K, and four times for the Half Marathon. The total event time limit is 3 hours and 30 minutes.

Registration and Logistics

Registration must be completed online; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race start and concludes 10 minutes before it begins. Parking is available in the lot by the Crossroads Tennis Courts, off Prairie View Road. Restrooms are located behind the tennis court.
