Race Overview
The US Road Running event in Charlotte, North Carolina, features multiple distance options including a 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon. The event takes place at the Mallard Creek Playground, situated across from Mallard Creek Elementary School. Participants must complete their registration online prior to the event, as no on-site registration is provided. Race packets are distributed at the location starting 30 minutes before the event begins.
Course Details
The courses for all distances follow an out and back layout. Runners will encounter a hill located at the start and finish line area. The distances are completed through a series of laps:
- 5K runners complete the 3.11-mile out and back course one time.
- 10K runners complete the out and back course two times.
- Half Marathon participants complete a 3.275-mile out and back course four times.
A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is enforced for all participants.
Recognition and Rankings
