3-2-1 Dash for Down Syndrome 5K & Fun Run
The event takes place on March 21, 2026 in Charlotte (Blakeney) at 8835 Blakeney Professional Dr, Charlotte, NC 28277. It is presented as the 14th running of the 3-2-1 Dash for Down Syndrome and is timed to coincide with World Down Syndrome Day.

The event features a standard 5K course plus an additional short "extra" dash after the 5K finish line to represent the extra (third) copy of the 21st chromosome in people with Down syndrome. Spectators with Down syndrome will cheer participants during that extra dash. All 5K finishers in 2026 will receive a custom finisher medal.
Registration fees listed are $35 for the 5K and $15 for the Kids Fun Run. The price for the 5K is scheduled to increase after December 31, 2025. Standard registration includes a soft-style 5K shirt; a long-sleeve performance shirt is available as a $15 upgrade. Shirt sizes are guaranteed only for registrations completed by March 1. The 5K includes awards for the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three male and female in each age category.
