US Road Running - Bel Air
The Eagle race event takes place at Cedar Lane Regional Park in Bel Air, Maryland. This organized run is part of the US Road Running Race Series and offers three distinct distances for participants to choose from. The event is open to all runners, provided they complete their registration through the designated online platform, as there is no registration available on the day of the race.
The competition features multiple distance options:
- 5K: A 1.56 mile out-and-back loop completed twice.
- 10K: A 1.56 mile out-and-back loop completed four times.
- Half Marathon: A 2.18 mile out-and-back course completed six times.
The courses are designed as out-and-back routes on asphalt or park paths. For the 5K and 10K, each lap covers approximately 1.56 miles. The Half Marathon uses a slightly longer loop of 2.18 miles per lap. A total time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is enforced for all participants across all distances.
All finishers receive a medal upon completing their respective distance. Packet pickup is conducted on-site shortly before the event begins. In addition to the running competition, there are opportunities for participants to take part in a best costume contest. Series points are also available for those tracking their performance within the race circuit. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
