Race Overview
The US Road Running event in Bel Air takes place at Cedar Lane Regional Park. This organized race offers three distinct distances for participants to choose from:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
The event is part of a race series where participants can earn points for their performance. Registration is handled online through RunSignup, and there is no option for on-site registration on the day of the event. All participants receive a finisher medal at the end of their race.
Course Details
The races utilize out-and-back routes within the park. The 5K and 10K events use a 1.56-mile course; participants in the 5K complete this loop twice, while those in the 10K complete it four times. The Half Marathon participants use a 2.18-mile route, completing the course six times to reach the total distance.
A time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is enforced for all distances. Additionally, runners have the option to participate in a costume contest.
