Event overview
The Medal Madness event in Montgomery, Alabama is scheduled for March 28, 2026 at Blount Cultural Park, 1 Festival Dr, Montgomery, AL 36117. The event includes three race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1M)
All participants must register on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race.
Course and logistics
Parking is available in the large parking lot in the center of the park or at the Scenic Open Space. The 5K and 10K use a short out-and-back segment of 0.78 miles; the full out-and-back measures 1.56 miles. The 5K completes that out-and-back twice, and the 10K completes it four times. The half marathon uses a 1.09-mile segment with a 2.18-mile out-and-back; the half marathon completes that out-and-back six times. The overall course time limit is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
