Event Overview
The US Road Running Medal Madness event is held at Ben Geren Regional Park in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The event offers three race distances: a 5K, a 10K, and a Half Marathon (13.1M).
Course Details
All courses follow an out-and-back design within the park. The 5K and 10K share a 0.78-mile base segment. The 5K is completed by running this base segment twice, while the 10K requires running it four times. The Half Marathon uses a different 1.09-mile base segment and requires running it six times to complete the full distance. The total course time limit for participants is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Logistics and Registration
The event takes place on September 5, 2026. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race start and concludes 10 minutes before the start. All participants must register online via RunSignup, as on-site registration is not available. Participants are directed to park in the lot across from the playground.
