MJ's Stampede
MJ's Stampede is a certified 5K and 10K road race with a timed 5K walk held in Fort Smith, Arkansas on September 19, 2026. The start and finish are at Greg Smith River Trail, 121 Riverfront Drive, Fort Smith AR 72901.

Online registration opens November 18, 2025 and closes September 6, 2026. Entry fees are $30 before September 6, $40 after September 6 through packet pickup, and $45 for race day registration. Participant packet pick-up and an expo are scheduled Friday, September 18 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at Glass Pavillion, 100 N. B Street, and Saturday morning at Greg Smith River Trail prior to the event. T shirts or tanks are guaranteed for those who register prior to September 6 and may be available on race day.
Awards include Overall Stampede Awards for the top male and female in the 5K and 10K runs, Grand Prix awards for top overall and age categories, and age division awards three deep in five year groups from 9 and under to 80 and over. The 10K serves as the RRCA Arkansas 10K Championship in several age divisions.
The event raises funds to support Blood Cancer United. In 2025 the event donated $14,000 to that organization. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
