Events
The Luau 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon event offers three race distances:
- 5K ($30)
- 10K ($45)
- Half Marathon ($65)
All distances are run concurrently from the same start line.
Location
The race takes place at Ben Geren Regional Park, located at 7200 Zero Street in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Course
Each course is an out-and-back route. The 5K and 10K share a 0.78-mile segment. The 5K distance is completed by running this segment two times, while the 10K requires four repetitions. The half marathon uses a separate 1.09-mile segment, which is run six times to complete the distance.
Registration
Participation requires advance registration through the RunSignup platform. On-site registration is not available. Packet pickup for registered runners occurs during a window before the race begins.
Additional Details
Parking for participants is in the lot across from the playground. The event has a total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all distances. All finishers receive a medal. The organizer offers a shirt and gear shop, hosts a best costume competition, and provides awards. The event is part of a larger series where participants can earn points.
