Lei Lei's 5K and Memory Mile
The event is the 14th annual Lei Lei's 5K and Memory Mile held at the Janet Huckabee Arkansas River Valley Nature Center in Fort Smith, AR on Saturday, May 2, 2026. It includes multiple participation options and is a fundraiser with all proceeds benefiting While We're Waiting.
Participants can choose from the following events:
- 5K run, entry fee listed as $25
- Memory Mile, entry fee listed as $20
- 1 Mile Walk, entry fee listed as $20
- Spirit Runner option, entry fee listed as $25
Fees increase after 4/18/26; later entry prices are noted as $30 for the 5K and $25 for the one-mile options. Event shirts are included with the 5K and 1 Mile Walk purchases while supplies last. All 5K participants receive goody bags and are entered in a drawing for giveaways. Timing is provided by Race Wizard.
Awards are given to overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in age groups: up to 10, 11 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and up. Packet pick up is available at ORR Chevrolet Cadillac and on the morning of the race; specific pickup times are provided by the organizer.
