Event
The Medal Madness event takes place on March 7, 2026, at Ben Geren Regional Park in Fort Smith, Arkansas (7200 Zero St, Fort Smith, AR 72903). The event offers the following race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. The race is organized by US Road Running. Finisher medals are provided. A shirt and gear shop, a best costume entry, series points, and awards are listed for the event.
Course and logistics
Parking is available in the lot across from the playground. Course time limit is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
5K and 10K course details: the listed loop is 0.78 miles (out-and-back 1.56 miles). The 5K runs that loop twice; the 10K runs it four times.
Half Marathon course details: the listed loop is 1.09 miles (out-and-back 2.18 miles). The Half Marathon runs that loop six times.
