Half A#@ Half Race takes place at Lamasco Park trailhead in Evansville, IN. The event offers two short out-and-back race options and finishes at the same trailhead.
Distances
- 6.55 miles : half of a half marathon
- 3.27 miles : half of a half of a half marathon
Organizers aim to get close to the listed distances but may adjust the course. Timing is provided with bib timing by To the Finish Timing. Awards include top two overall male and female finishers for each distance and top three male and female finishers in age groups: 13 & under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+ for each distance.
Entry fees follow a tiered structure: $30 until July 27, $35 until September 18, and $40 through race day. A medal-only option reduces the fee by $5; processing fees apply at checkout. A discount code is available for groups of four or more. All sales are final.
Participants receive a custom rubber key chain medal at the finish. Race shirts are Tultex unisex soft cotton and are guaranteed for sizes ordered by September 11; additional shirts may be available afterward until sizes run out. Shirt and bib pick-up is scheduled for September 25 at Ultimate Fit from 5:00 to 6:00 PM; late check-in is available Sunday morning at Lamasco Park from 7:15 to 7:45 AM.
The event proceeds rain or shine; organizers may delay the start if weather threatens safety. Two dollars from each entry benefits the North Posey JH Tennis team. On-site activities include cheering from Plunder & Piper of Hike Burro Brave and drinks for sale from Travelin' Tom's. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
