Haitian Hustle 5K - Bemidji
The Haitian Hustle 5K in Bemidji is a community run that supports needs at Grace Emmanuel School in Haiti. This is Bemidji’s fourth annual Haitian Hustle and continues a series of events that began in 2011 to raise funds for the school.
The event takes place at Oak Hills Christian College, 1600 Oak Hills Rd SW, Bemidji. The course surface is a mix of gravel road, trails through the woods, and pavement. Parking is available on campus with overflow parking in the upper lot.
Online registration opens June 23 and race day registration is available before the start. Race shirts are ordered but are not guaranteed for late registrants. The 5K is unofficial; awards will be given to the first three male and first three female finishers. Strollers are permitted but larger-wheel models are recommended because of mixed terrain. Dogs are not allowed on campus.
Sponsorship opportunities are available; donations of $100 or more result in a business name or logo placed on the back of the event T-shirt.
