Bemidji Blue Ox Marathon
The Bemidji Blue Ox Marathon is a multi-race event held around Lake Bemidji. Courses include routes through Lake Bemidji State Park and past Bemidji State University. The event was established in 2013.
Races take place on two days:
- Friday, October 9: 5K and 10K run/walk, 1/2K and 1K kids fun runs.
- Saturday, October 10: Half Marathon, 26K Lake Loop, Marathon, and B-Unified 2K.

Pre registration is required; there is no same day registration. Registration deadline is 10/08/26 at 11:59pm.
All participants receive a shirt, a medal, and a free 10oz beer from Bemidji Brewing in downtown Bemidji. The event posts periodic updates about medals and shirts for the upcoming year. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
