Bemidji Blue Ox Marathon
The Bemidji Blue Ox Marathon is a multi-race event held around Lake Bemidji in northern Minnesota. The course passes through Lake Bemidji State Park and by Bemidji State University. The event was established in 2013 and features organized races across two days in October.
Races are scheduled on two days:
- Friday, October 9 features shorter runs and family events.
- Saturday, October 10 hosts the longer distance races and a B Unified 2K.
Distances offered include:
- Marathon
- 26K Lake Loop
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
- B Unified 2K
- 1K and 1/2K Kids Fun Runs
Pre-registration is required; there is no same-day registration. The registration deadline is 10/08/26 at 11:59pm. All participants receive a shirt, a medal, and a free 10oz beer from Bemidji Brewing in downtown Bemidji. Event features and services listed for participants include a Harmony Co-op Finisher Area, vendors, race results and photos, volunteer support, and sponsor participation.
