Bemidji Holiday Running Series
The Bemidji Holiday Running Series is a set of three linked holiday 5K races held in Bemidji, Minnesota: the Boo Dash, the Turkey Trot, and Raphael's Reindeer Run. Each main race is a 3.1 Miles 5K and events take place at local venues in the Bemidji area.
Registration may be completed for all three races at a discounted combined fee or individually for each race. A unique finisher prize is awarded to participants who complete all three races, beginning with the Boo Dash on October 24th.
Individual race details include seasonal themes and participant amenities. The Boo Dash is a Halloween themed trail run at Gene Dillon Elementary where costumes are encouraged; T shirts are provided to registrants who register by October 12th. The Turkey Trot is hosted by Bemidji State University and is presented as a pre-holiday family event; post-race offerings include coffee, hot chocolate, and donuts, and T shirts are provided to those who register by November 16th. The Reindeer Run is described as a family fun run that starts and ends at Paul Bunyan Park with views of Lake Bemidji; the event package noted for this race includes a crewneck sweatshirt, donuts, coffee from Starbucks, and awards for top finishers.
