Hailsham Community Run 2027
The Hailsham Community Run takes place on 16 May 2027 and uses the undulating roads in and around Hailsham. The event comprises a series of races at multiple distances and includes options aimed at different participant groups.
Distances offered:
- 1 Mile inclusive, untimed, no prizes, assistance dogs permitted.
- 3k aimed at younger participants, prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Boy and Girl under 16.
- 5k minimum age 11, affiliated, unaffiliated and group entry options.
- 10k minimum age 15, affiliated entry option.
The organisers continue to provide an inclusive disability 1 mile race for all ages and abilities so participants of differing needs can race and receive a medal. The event has a strict entry limit of 1200 and sold out in recent years, which affects available places. Specific entry options include a parent and child entry for the 3k with a maximum of one parent and one child, and group entry discounts for 5k teams with a minimum team size of five.
Dogs are not permitted in events except for assistance dogs taking part in the inclusive mile. The 1 mile event is explicitly untimed and does not offer prizes, while the 3k has age category prizes for younger runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
