Course and logistics
The Guthrie Wineglass Marathon is a point-to-point course that starts in Bath, NY and finishes on Market Street in Corning, NY. The route passes through Savona, Campbell (the half marathon start location), Coopers Plains, and Painted Post. The course falls within the Boston Marathon net-elevation drop standard and therefore requires no adjustment for qualifying. For safety, all full and half marathon runners must take an event bus to the start; bus pickup locations include Bath (Pulteney Park) and Corning (Tioga Avenue). There is no race day bib pick-up; runners must have a bib before boarding the bus. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
