Gulf Beach Half Marathon
The Gulf Beach Half Marathon is scheduled for Saturday September 12, 2026 in Milford, Connecticut at Gulf Beach and lot 635 Gulf Street. The course runs along Milford beaches and includes the Silver Sands State Park boardwalk. The course is USATF certified, number CT19028JHP.
Organizers describe the route as flat and scenic. Aid stations are located at miles 2.75, 4.75, 6.75, 8.75 and 10.75 and are stocked with Poland Spring water and Gatorade Endurance. Bathrooms and porto lets are provided at the start and finish and near miles 3, 4.5, 8.5 and 10. Transponder timing is used for gun and net times, and results are live streamed and sent by text and email.
All entrants receive a short sleeve tech shirt and a custom finisher medal with a choice of two medal options. Finishers are offered Poland Spring water, Gatorade Endurance, bagels and bananas at the finish line. Custom awards are given to the top three men and women overall and in five year age divisions from 15 through 80 plus. Free downloadable race photos and finisher certificates are provided.
Entry transfers are allowed through Active until 8/12/2026 for a fee. Deferral to the 2027 race is available until 8/12/2026 for a fee. There are no refunds. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
