Event Overview
The Little O’pub 5k is a St. Patrick's Day themed running event taking place on March 15, 2026, a couple of days before the holiday. It is hosted by the Little Pub in the Lordship section of Stratford, Connecticut.
Events
The event schedule includes three races:
- Little O’Pub 5K: A 5 km race starting at 10:00 AM EDT.
- Little O’Pub 5K age 20 & under only: A youth-specific 5 km race also starting at 10:00 AM EDT.
- ‘Free-leaf’ Clover Little Tykes run: A free children's event starting at 9:45 AM EDT.
Participant Information
Participation is limited to 250 people. Registration fees for the main 5K event vary based on age and date, with separate pricing for participants aged 21 and over, and for those 20 and under.
Course and Amenities
The course is described as scenic, flat, and an out-and-back route along the water. Post race amenities for participants 21 and over include Lordship Lager beer and Jameson shots. There will also be hot food, snacks, non alcoholic craft brews, and soft drinks available to all. A special T shirt is part of the package, with a size guarantee ending on March 1.
Awards and Extras
Awards will be given to the male and female overall champions, as well as the top two finishers in several age groups, from 9 and under up to 70 and over. Winners receive gift cards to the Little Pub. Additional gift cards from local businesses like Marathon Sports and the Drowsy Whaler are offered, and the race bib provides a discount at the Drowsy Whaler on a future visit.
Logistics
Bib and swag pickup is available on March 14 from 8:30-10:30 AM and on race day starting at 8:30 AM at the Little Pub. Parking is available along the seawall and in the Little Pub lots. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
