GTC Paris Mountain Trails 7K
The event is the 7K GTC Paris Mountain trail race held concurrently with the USATF South Carolina Association Open and Masters Cross-Country Championships. It takes place in Greenville at 2401 State Park Road, Greenville, SC 29609.
Each finisher receives a commemorative patch. Swag prizes are awarded to the top three overall, the top three masters, the youngest and oldest finishers, and the DFL finisher. USATF Association medals are awarded to the top three USATF South Carolina men and women in the open division and in five year masters age groups. USATF membership is not required to compete but is required to receive USATFSC awards; USATF membership numbers must be entered at the time of registration.
The course is described as moderate with few hills. The route begins at the front picnic area near the footbridge, follows the lake past the main office, and proceeds along Lake Placid Trail, Mountain Creek Trail, Sulphur Springs, Pavilion, Park Road and the Archery Range before returning to Shelter 3, which serves as the finish location.
Registration opens 12/21/2025 at 11:30 and closes 7/19/2026 at 23:59. The registration fee is $30.00. Race day registration and bib pickup take place at Shelter 3 near the main parking lot across from the main office. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
