Funds raised from the event benefit the Grove Park Foundation and a community fund supporting local partners. Awards are given to the overall male and female finishers, masters male and female finishers, and the fastest Grove Park resident.

Public transit via the MARTA train to Bankhead Station, followed by Bus 50 west to Hortense Place, is an option. The start and finish location is the Grove Park Pavilion.
