8th Annual Grove Park Community 5K
The Grove Park Community 5K is an annual athletic event held in Atlanta, Georgia. This edition marks the eighth year of the race, which takes place in the historic Grove Park neighborhood and Westside Park. The event serves as a fundraiser, with proceeds benefiting the Grove Park Foundation and a community fund that supports local partners.

The 5K route consists of a shady and rolling course that traverses through the neighborhood streets and park areas. The race is officially chip-timed. Registration categories are available for the general public, with specific pricing offered for local residents. Participants also have the option to register as a team for a reduced rate.
The event facilities are located at the Grove Park Pavilion. For those traveling by car, parking is designated at the YMCA and Kipp Woodson Park Academy. Public transit users can access the venue via the Marta train to Bankhead Station followed by the 50 bus route. The 5K course is open to both runners and walkers, and the event permits the use of strollers and the presence of dogs.
Awards are presented to the fastest male and female participants in the overall and masters categories. A specialized award is also given to the fastest resident of the neighborhood.
