Grizzly Gold 5k & 1k
Butler Community College, in conjunction with Gold Fest, is hosting the first annual Grizzly Gold Road Race on 09/26/2026 at 400 S Haverhill Rd, El Dorado, KS 67042. The event offers two distances on an all terrain course that passes BG Product Stadium and El Dorado Disc Golf Course, and finishes at BG Product Stadium.
Distances:
- 5K all terrain course through El Dorado streets and disc golf area
- 1K short distance option finishing at BG Product Stadium
Every participant will receive a T-Shirt and a medal. Complimentary refreshments are provided at the finish. Proceeds benefit Butler Track and Field student athletes.
Registration details are provided for each distance. The 5K has a registration fee of $30 and its registration period closes on 08/31/2026. The 1K has a registration fee of $25 and its registration period closes on 09/26/2026. The event is presented as a community road race with on-site finish amenities and a route that includes local streets and recreational areas.
