The 100 mile course is primarily out and back; some formats include a 30 mile loop to Eureka. Aid support varies by distance: the 100 mile has 22 aid stations (the 125 mile includes an additional roving aid option); the 100K, 50 mile, and marathon have fewer manned stations. Crew access and drop bag locations are provided at multiple designated points for each distance.
Pacers are permitted from the Matfield Green aid station to the finish and must be on foot.
