Gritty Chix Mud Run at ACE Adventure Resort
Gritty Chix Mud Run is a non-competitive mud obstacle event held on June 20, 2026 at ACE Adventure Resort. The event is presented with a focus on women and girls but is open to all participants ages 10 and up. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Course options include:
- Moxie Mile 1 mile course
- Tenacious Trail 5K course
Both woodland trails converge on a mud obstacle course with additional mud holes on the 5K route. Obstacles vary in difficulty and may be bypassed if a participant prefers. Water and first aid stations are located along the trails and at the finish area. Secure bag check, shower houses and changing rooms are available with shuttle service between parking and facilities.
Perks described for registrants include a race medal, a Gritty Chix race shirt for registrations received by May 31, 2026, free parking, live music at The Lost Paddle, and prize categories such as best costume and largest team. A photo contest runs with an entry fee of $25; photographers must register before race day and submit photos by June 22. Submitted photography may be used for ACE marketing purposes.
All participants must complete the event waiver during registration. No refunds and no pets are allowed. A portion of proceeds benefits a charitable organization; the partner will be announced later. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
