New River Gorge Trifecta
The New River Gorge Trifecta is a calendar-year endurance series held in New River Gorge National Park, WV, and organized by Rim to River Endurance Co. The series requires completion of three separate races in the same year, each run in a different format and season.
Only 50 spots are available; registration guarantees a place in all three races. Registration fee is listed as $775 and registration opens in November 2026.
The three races in the series are:
- Cabin Fever 50K (point-to-point)
- Falling Water 100K (4 x 25K loops)
- Rim to River 100 (out-and-back)
Finisher awards for Trifecta participants include a custom belt buckle, plaque, hat, and jacket. Because Trifecta entry ensures a spot in the Rim to River 100, there are no refunds for Trifecta participants who drop from any of the three races.
Proceeds from race registrations support Adventure Appalachia, a non-profit that provides outdoor programming and educational experiences. The event is scheduled across 2027 with the three race dates listed in February, April, and October in New River Gorge National Park, WV.
