Event overview
Falling Water Ultras takes place April 25, 2026 at ACE Adventure Resort and parts of New River Gorge National Park, West Virginia. The course uses trails around Rush Run and Arbuckle Creek and follows sections along the New River, including a creek crossing. The route is four repeated loops of about 15.5 miles each, with about 2,400 feet of elevation gain and loss per loop. The race offers on-site camping at the start/finish area as part of registration.

- 100K solo
- 100K 2-person relay
- 100K 4-person relay
- 50K solo
Solo 100K runners have a 24-hour cutoff and may use a pacer for the final loop. Solo 50K runners have a 12-hour cutoff. Aid is available at the start/finish area and on each loop there are hydration stations with water and Gnarly Fuel2-O at roughly the 5- and 10-mile points; runners must carry their own food and fuel while on each loop. Entry fees vary by date and category; early and later registration rates are listed by the organizer. Finish items include a custom belt buckle for solo 100K finishers and medals for solo 50K and relay finishers. Awards are given to the top three finishers in each category. Refunds are full until February 1; changes after that are handled case-by-case. Proceeds support the Adventure Appalachia nonprofit. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
