Grit & Grind Trail Race presented by Arc'teryx
This trail race takes place at Camp Fortune in Gatineau Park on Sunday, August 30, 2026. Several distances are offered.
Available Distances
- 2K – A kids race for ages 7 to 12.
- 5K – A single loop on park trails.
- 10K – A longer single loop on Camp Fortune trails.
- 20K – A new distance for 2026, consisting of two loops. This race is a designated UTMB Index Race, meaning it contributes to a runner's global ranking in that category.
Practical Information
The event is not suitable for strollers or mobility devices. For safety, headphones and earbuds are not permitted on the course.
Registration Fees
Adult fees are $61.86 CAD (plus tax) for the 5K, 10K, and 20K distances. Youth fees (ages 12-24) for these distances are $28.13 CAD (plus tax). Registration for the 2K kids race is $16.88 CAD (plus tax). A Green Bib option allows participants to forgo a finisher's medal, with a portion of the fee donated to Sauvetage Bénévole Outaouais – Ottawa Volunteer Search and Rescue (SBO-OVSAR).
Included with Registration
Registration includes a personalized race bib, a commemorative medal (except with the Green Bib option), professional chip timing, and post-race snacks. A technical shirt and other commemorative add-ons are available for purchase. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
