Grissom Choir Glow Run
The Grissom Choir Glow Run is the second edition of a night-time 5K community run held on September 19, 2026, in Huntsville, Alabama. The course is an out-and-back route that begins at Grissom High School and follows the Hays Farm Park Greenway; it is described as scenic and mostly flat.
The event distance is 5K and the race is professionally chip-timed, with official times recorded when a participant crosses the starting mat. Strollers and dogs are allowed; dogs must be on a leash and are asked to start toward the back of the pack for safety.
Registration carries a fee of $35 per participant. All registration fees are non-refundable and directly support Grissom High School choir programs, including performances, travel, and music-related activities. Late registrants may receive finisher medals on a first-come, first-served basis as supplies allow.
Packet pick-up locations include Fleet Feet Huntsville the day before the race and Grissom High School on race day. Each registered participant receives a finisher medal and glow gear such as glow sticks. After the run there will be food trucks, music, and an awards ceremony; prizes will be given to top overall finishers and award categories will be announced.
