Grings Mill Run 5K & 10K Races
This event is the 49th annual Grings Mill Run presented by Pretzel City Sports. It takes place at Grings Mill Park in Reading, Pennsylvania, and offers two measured road race distances on a mostly flat, traffic-free course that runs alongside a scenic trout stream. The surface combines packed cinder and paved trails and the course is wheel measured with selected mile splits and a finish clock. Instant timing is used and official results are posted on the organizer's website the next business day.
Entry fees differ by registration date and include the option of a short sleeve unisex T-shirt for early registrants; later and race day entries have a different fee structure while shirts last. Online registration with credit card is available with a nominal service fee; mailed entries by check are accepted per the event application.
Awards are given for each distance, including overall male and female winners and age group prizes, plus Clydesdale and Clydette divisions with weight-based qualifications; Clydesdale entrants are not eligible for age group awards. The event prohibits pets and alcoholic beverages in the park and is held rain or shine, with the organizer reserving the right to delay for lightning or extreme weather.
