Crete Country Christmas Grinch 5K
The Crete Country Christmas 5k Grinch Run takes place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, in Crete, Illinois (Division and Wood Street, ZIP 60417). The event is a 5K with separate registration categories for participants aged 13 and over and for those aged 12 and under. Entry fees listed are $35 for the 13-and-over category and $25 for the 12-and-under category; fees increase after November 28, 2025.
Event details
The race benefits the Crete Food Pantry; participants are asked to bring a nonperishable food item to donate on race morning. Runners, walkers and strollers may participate, and participants are invited to dress in Grinch green. Registration for the 5K includes a race shirt and post-race refreshments (fruit, water, and granola provided in the runner tent).
