About the race
The Grimsby On The Lake Turkey Trot is a family-friendly charity running event held on the shore of Lake Ontario at Casablanca Beach in Grimsby, ON on October 10, 2026. The event raises funds for Inclusion West Niagara and directs 100% of proceeds to that organization.
Distances offered:
- 5 km Run / Walk
- Kids 1 km Dash (ages 4–12)
The 5 km is chip timed and described as a flat, scenic lakeside course. The Kids 1 km Dash is organized as a safe, short run for young participants and includes a free event t-shirt for every child entrant. Age group medals are awarded for the 5 km and post‑race snacks are provided.
Inclusion West Niagara receives the event proceeds to support inclusive programs, employment support and community belonging for people of all abilities. The event is listed as an Athletics Ontario sanctioned race for 2026. Casablanca Beach location notes free parking and lake views near the start and finish areas.
