Event
Grim Leodis is a trail and canal running event organised by Its Grim Up North Running on 08 February 2026. The main loop is an undulating 6.5 mile circuit combining canal tow path, river bank, trails and a short road section. The course is lapped, mainly off road, and follows sections of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal and the River Aire. The routes are marshalled and signed.

- 6.55 miles - £24-£26; open to entrants aged 16 and over
- Half Marathon - £29-£31; open to entrants aged 18 and over
- 20 Miles - £35-£37
- Marathon - £40-£42; open to entrants aged 18 and over
Feed stations are provided about every three miles and are normally cup-less - runners are asked to bring a reusable cup or bottle. There is a cut-off time of 6.5 hours for completing the course. Large over-ear headphones are banned; bone-conducting or single earphone use is permitted. Downloadable GPX files are available for navigation. Parking is provided at Morrisson in Kirkstall (currently free all day). A bespoke finisher medal and post-race goodies are included. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
