The Griffith Park Trail Marathon event is scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Griffith Park - Merry-Go-Round Lot 1 in Los Angeles. Registration opens December 1, 2025 and is open until March 25, 2026. Bib pickup is available at the start line on race morning. Past race results and photos are listed for previous years.

Course and aid stations
The marathon course is an out-and-back trail that includes a mix of single track and double track fire roads and reaches the summit near the Hollywood sign. The event lists a 9-hour finish limit for the marathon course; runners who need additional time may start with the 50k field to obtain a 10-hour option. Multiple aid stations are placed along the course with water or full aid at specific mile markers, for example: Joe Klass (Mile 2.5), Bird Sanctuary (around Mile 5), and Mineral Wells (around Mile 8.5 and other locations). Drop bag locations are available at the start/finish for some distances.
