Griffith Education Foundation 5K
The Griffith Education Foundation 5K is a community 5K run/walk held on 09/05/2026 at Central Park, 600 N Broad St, Griffith, IN 46319. The event benefits the Griffith Educational Foundation, a nonprofit that provides funding for teacher and classroom grants for activities, projects, and programs beyond what tax dollars can accommodate.

Bananas and water will be provided after the race. Strollers and leashed dogs are allowed; participants are asked to be mindful of others and leave ample space. Ample parking and bathroom facilities are available on site.
Awards and door prizes are presented immediately following race completion and winners must be present. Awards are given to the top overall male and female in the following age groups: Under 18, 19 to 35, 36 to 49, and 50 plus. A Rock N Rail Car show takes place after the race.
