Greenville Turkey Trot and Roll
Shriners Children’s Greenville Turkey Trot and Roll is an annual fundraising event held at Trailblazer Park in Travelers Rest, South Carolina. The event brings together families and community members for walking, running and festival activities on the park grounds, an urban green space near the Blue Ridge Mountains and downtown Travelers Rest.
Offerings during the event weekend include:
- 5K road course
- Family Fun Walk around the track
- Family Fun Fest with community activities
A packet pick-up day is scheduled before the main event, and a festival with community activities takes place on the event day. The Community Fun Walk is held after the 5K race concludes.
All proceeds benefit Shriners Children’s Greenville and support treatment for more than 85 orthopedic conditions regardless of a family’s ability to pay or insurance status. The event lists sponsors and volunteer opportunities and reports fundraising progress toward a stated goal; current totals show $100,725 raised toward a $165,000 goal.
