Event Overview
The Greensprings 24 is a 24-hour endurance race scheduled for October 24, 2026. Participants can run, walk, or crawl as many miles as they choose within the time limit. The event supports The Arc in Williamsburg, VA, an organization offering programs for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Course Details
The race takes place on a loop course at 3751 John Tyler Hwy in Williamsburg, Virginia. Each certified loop is 2.215 miles. The surface is crushed gravel, mainly flat and non-technical. The course is marked with reflective confidence streamers. Participants pass a personal supply area and a loop check-in station near the parking lot. A half marathon event uses the same trail in the opposite direction on Saturday morning, creating considerable traffic.

Packet pickup is available on race morning starting at 6:30 AM or on Friday, October 23 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the start/finish area. Pacers are allowed after 3:00 PM. Awards are also given to the top three overall male and female finishers.
Registration and Teams
Registration opens on March 1, 2026. A team option is available during checkout, allowing groups to compete for a prize based on the most accumulated mileage. Only full loops count toward distance totals. Participants are encouraged to collect donations for the benefiting charity, with an option to donate during checkout or on race day.
