Organizers designed the half marathon course as two loops inside Greensboro city limits with the stated goal of creating a fast route through the heart of the city. A post-race area will include vendors, music, food, and beer.
Logistics and policies
If the event is canceled for reasons beyond the control of the race director or committee, refunds will not be issued; race packets, including shirts, will be made available at a location to be determined. The published refund policy states no refunds will be issued within 30 days of the event. Requests made earlier than 30 days before the event may be eligible for a 50% refund of the entry fee, excluding processing fees. Entries cannot be deferred to another event or year. Entries may be transferred to another individual for a $5 transfer fee; t-shirt size cannot be changed during a transfer. Completing at least four events in the organizer’s Running Series or Multisport Series qualifies a participant to be eligible for series awards.
