Greensboro Distilling Speakeasy 5K
The Greensboro Distilling Speakeasy 5K is a road race held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Greensboro Distillery, 115 W Lewis St., Greensboro, NC. The event is held after dark on street lit roads in downtown Greensboro and uses an out and back USATF measured 5k course. The course is described as well lit and takes place on city streets.
After the run there is a speakeasy area with live jazz music and beverage service featuring cocktails made with Fainting Goat Spirits and beers from SouthEnd Brewing. The event includes themed awards, a custom Trivium finishers medal that is part of the Trivium Mega Medal Series, and a short-sleeved race T-shirt (sizes not guaranteed within two weeks of race day). Regular and economy registration options include two drink tickets; virtual registration includes a shirt and medal; spectator registration includes two drink tickets and a commemorative rocks glass.
Awards are given to the top three overall males and females and to the top three in multiple age groups, including 19 and under through 70 and over. Parking options noted by the organizer include free parking at the lot on the southwest corner of S. Elm and Gate City Blvd, limited paid parking on Lewis Street via Barnhardt St. entrance, and downtown street and deck parking. Do not park where no parking signs are posted on Lewis Street because that area is part of the course.
The event refund and transfer policies specify no refunds within 30 days of the event, a possible 50 percent refund prior to 30 days excluding processing fees, and the ability to transfer entries to another individual for a $5 fee.
