Event Details and Logistics
The event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon (USAT). Participants must be at least 10 years old on race day to compete. All athletes must be members of USAT to compete; a one-day membership can be purchased during registration if needed.
The transition area has a specific map and rules, including a designated bike mount/dismount zone. The event requires participants to follow USAT competitive rules, which include wearing a helmet with a fastened chinstrap while on the bike and wearing the colored swim cap provided by the race.
A post-race ceremony includes awards for overall male, female, and non-binary winners, relay team finishers, and top finishers by age groups. The event also presents the Nook Burniske Award and the Patrick Bell Award.
All race proceeds benefit the Greenfield Recreation Department. The event has raised thousands of dollars to support community programs and events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
