Event Details
The Green Park Viking Dash takes place on Saturday, April 18, 2026. The event includes two distances: a 5K Run/Walk and a 1 Mile Run/Walk.
Both events start and finish at Green Park Lutheran School, located at 4248 Green Park Road in Saint Louis, Missouri. The 5K course goes through the surrounding neighborhood and includes a section of Grant's Trail. The 1 Mile course uses the nearby neighborhood.
All event proceeds benefit Green Park Lutheran School's Viking Village.
Registration and Fees
- 5K Run/Walk: The initial fee is $30 through January 31, 2026. It increases to $35 until March 15, and $40 until race day.
- 1 Mile Fun Run: The initial fee is $20 through January 31. It increases to $25 until March 15, and $30 until race day.
A t-shirt is guaranteed for participants who register by March 15. A limited number of sizes may be available on race day.
Awards and Schedule
All participants receive a medal upon completion of their event. Individual awards are presented to the top male and female finishers overall, and to the first-place finisher in each age group. The age groups are: 10 & under, 11–14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, and 60+.
On race day, packet pickup and onsite registration begin at 7:30 AM. An awards ceremony is scheduled for 10:30 AM. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
