About the race
The Greeley Freedom 5k Walk & Run is a community event held in Greeley, Colorado, along the Greeley Stampede 4th of July Parade Route. The course follows the parade route on 10th Street with start and finish located on that route, allowing participants to be in place for the Independence Day parade.
Two event options are offered:
- 3.1 Miles (5k Run and 5k Walk)
All participants receive chip timing, professional photos, and event swag. Registration for the listed events opens on 2026-09-01 and closes on 2026-11-01; the listed registration fee is $29.00. Proceeds from the event benefit Beef Sticks for BackPacks, a local 501(c)(3) that provides children in need with quality nutrition.
