Event overview
The Greater St. Louis Marathon takes place on April 11, 2026, in downtown St. Louis, Missouri. The weekend includes an expo with packet pickup and a post-race festival that features live music, local food, and an after-party. The event also returns the National Running Club Championships & Rally and includes a running club championship with team categories, points for registration, results and volunteering, and special awards such as farthest-traveled team and team spirit. Age requirements are published by distance (marathon 18+; half marathon 14+; 10K 12+; 5K 6+; 1-mile open to all ages). An Early Start option is available for walkers who expect marathon finishes between 6 and 7.5 hours or half marathon finishes between 3:15 and 4:15 hours; eligibility requires proof of prior finish time and race management approval. Course time limits apply for some distances (10K: 15-minute per mile maximum; 5K: 20-minute per mile maximum). Registration perks include a premium event shirt, finisher medal, on-course hydration and gel stations, gear check, medical stations, massage therapy, individual race photos, and a post-race party.
