Greater St. Louis Marathon
The Greater St. Louis Marathon is scheduled for April 3, 2027, with activities centered in downtown St. Louis. The event weekend includes multiple race distances, a city course that passes notable local landmarks, and the return of the National Running Club Championships and Rally. Festivities begin downtown and conclude with a post-race party featuring live music, local food, and neighborhood crowds.
Race offerings include:
- Full marathon
- Half marathon
- 10K
- 5K
- 1-mile Family Fun Run
- Early Start option for walkers
Race logistics note course maps are subject to change and course time limits apply. The full marathon has a current 6.5-hour course limit and the half marathon has a 3 hour and 15 minute limit. The 10K requires maintaining a maximum 15-minute per mile pace and the 5K a maximum 20-minute per mile pace.
An Early Start option is available for walkers who expect slower finish times; eligibility is based on recent finish times and approval by race officials. Early starters will receive official timing and finish recognition, and that group will be supported by lead and tail vehicles, pacers, aid stations, medical support, and volunteers. Early-start participants must wear a reflective safety item and a headlamp or light before daylight.
Registration includes a premium event shirt, finisher medal, on-course hydration and nutrition, gear check, race photos, massage therapy, and a post-race party. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
