The Greater St. Louis Marathon takes place in St. Louis on April 11, 2026. The weekend includes in-person and virtual events and a downtown expo that serves as the official packet pickup. The race weekend features an after-party, live music and local food as part of post-race activities.

Entry, age limits and registration
Registration is available online only. Age minimums are: marathon 18 years, half marathon and marathon relay 14 years, 10K 12 years, 5K 6 years, and the 1-mile family run is open to all ages. Packet pickup is at the Expo; race day packet pickup is only available if that option is purchased.
Course rules, timing and special programs
The event uses chip timing and has course time limits that affect eligibility for finishing on course. A new Early Start option is available for walkers who expect to finish the full marathon between 6 and 7.5 hours or the half marathon between 3 hours 15 minutes and 4 hours 15 minutes; approval requires proof of a recent finish time. Early starters receive official timing, on-course aid and lead and tail vehicle support. Wheelchair competitors are permitted in the marathon and half marathon with registration and helmet requirements.
Included services and policies
Registration includes an event shirt, finisher medal, aid stations, energy gels on longer courses, gear check, medical stations, race photos and a post-race festival. Refunds are not offered.
