Greater St. Louis Marathon
The Greater St. Louis Marathon is scheduled for April 11, 2026 in downtown St. Louis. The event weekend includes an expo and packet pickup at Union Station, a post race festival with local food and music, and the return of the National Running Club Championships and Rally.
Offered distances include:
- Marathon, in-person and virtual
- Half marathon, in-person and virtual
- 10K, in-person and virtual
- 5K, in-person and virtual
- One mile family fun run
An Early Start option is available for walkers who expect to finish the full marathon between six and seven and a half hours, or the half marathon between three hours fifteen minutes and four hours fifteen minutes. Early Start groups receive course support such as lead and tail vehicles, pacers, aid stations, official timing, and are required to wear a reflective safety item and a headlamp or light before daylight. Official finish times and finisher recognition are provided for all early starters.
Race weekend features a two day Expo and packet pickup, gear check, medical stations, massage therapy, individual race photos, and a hospitality hub with refreshments and stretching. The event provides registered participants with an event shirt and finisher medal, on course hydration and energy gel stations, and a post race celebration attended by volunteers and neighborhood spectators.
