Event Overview
The Greater Beverly YMCA Fly 5K is a road race held at the Beverly Regional Airport in Beverly, Massachusetts. This event provides a unique opportunity for participants to run on the airfield grounds. The race serves as a fundraiser for the Greater Beverly YMCA, supporting community programs such as swim safety, youth development, and childcare, as well as the McPherson Youth Center and the Open Air & Space Museum.

Course and Logistics
The race starts and finishes at the airport terminal. The course takes place on the airfield, and for safety and insurance reasons, dogs are not permitted on the airport grounds. Free on-site parking is available at the airport terminal, though participants are instructed not to park on the access road.
Timing services are provided for the 5 km distance, with results posted at the finish line and emailed to runners after the event. Unisex crew neck race shirts are provided on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
Awards
Medals are awarded to the first-place overall male and female finishers. In the age group categories, medals are given to the top three male and female finishers in groups ranging from 13 and under to 70 and over. There are also specific awards for the top three non-binary finishers and the top three wheelchair finishers.
