About the race
The 2026 Komen Greater Atlanta Race for the Cure is scheduled for October 17, 2026 at Lenox Square in Atlanta, GA. The event offers both in person and virtual participation and supports fundraising for breast cancer research, care, community programs and advocacy. Participants may choose between two route options: - Approximately three miles - One mile route option Registration fees are listed by category: Adult $40, Virtual Adult $40, Youth under 18 $30, Virtual Youth under 18 $30. A timing chip is available for a $10 purchase when the three mile route is selected; a timing chip makes participants eligible for rewards.
Top overall male and female finishers in the three mile route are recognized in award categories. The event includes activities for survivors and people living with metastatic breast cancer, including a Hope Village celebration and a Pathway of Hope survivor parade. Packet pickup takes place the day before the race at Lenox Square Mall in the mall center. Children in strollers are encouraged though only registered participants receive an event T shirt.
For safety and local regulations, only service animals are allowed at the event. Free parking for participants is available at Macy's Parking Garage and public transportation serves Lenox Square.
