The Great Turkey Trot 5K

The Great Turkey Trot 5K is scheduled for Sunday, November 22, 2026, at Southern Hills Farm in Clermont, Florida. The event includes a chip-timed 5K and Orlando Health Kids Races with short dashes for children. The 5K course is run entirely on dirt trail and has one water station located at approximately the 1.5 mile mark. Runners are asked to wear their bib on the front of their shirt.

All 5K finishers receive a medal. 5K participants also receive a race shirt and a finisher medal, and each 5K entry includes an apple cider donut from Southern Hills Farm. Kids race participants receive a race medal and bib; kid distances vary between 50 and 200 yards depending on age and ability. Awards are given for top finishers overall and by age group, with categories that include Top 3 overall male and female, Top Overall Master male and female, and top 3 male and female age group awards across standard age brackets.

Additional event details: packet pick up is available early on Friday, November 21 from 11:00am to 5:30pm at a Dream Finders Homes location, and race day packet pick up begins at Southern Hills Farm. Free parking is available at Southern Hills Farm via Gate 4. Registration fees are listed with regular and late pricing, and registration has been limited and sold out in recent years.
