The Great Turkey Trot 5K in Clermont

The Great Turkey Trot 5K is a Thanksgiving themed running event held at Southern Hills Farm in Clermont, Florida on Sunday, November 22, 2026. The 5K is run entirely on dirt trail through Southern Hills Farm and includes one water station located at about the 1.5 mile point on the course.

All 5K participants receive chip timing, a race shirt, and a finisher medal. The event also includes a world famous apple cider donut from Southern Hills Farm. Awards recognize top overall and age group finishers, including Top 3 overall male and female, Top Overall Master male and female, and Top 3 male and female in standard age groups down to 14 and under.

The event features Orlando Health Kids Races with short dashes that vary by age; kids receive a medal and bib. Additional onsite amenities listed for the event include free coffee from Foxtail Coffee, free ice cream from Kelly’s, photo opportunities, themed entertainment along the course, and post-race treats and music.

Registration is limited and has sold out the last three years. Published registration fees are $35 regular for the 5K before 11/7/2026, $40 late on or after 11/7/2026, and $15 for the Orlando Health Kids Races. Early packet pick up is the Friday before the race at a Dream Finders Homes location; race day packet pick up begins on site the morning of the event.
