Great Trek takes place on October 24, 2026 at the University of British Columbia, Herbarium and Main Mall in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The event offers several race formats on the same weekend route.

Race entry includes a race bib with timing chip, post race drinks and food, gear check and pacers provided by RUNVAN, and published race results and leaderboards. There is an option to select a "green bib" and forgo the race giveaway; medals are available for finishers of the 21.1 km, 10 km, and 5 km distances including green bib participants.
Package pickup is held during race week at Forerunners Main St over multiple days; there is no race day package pickup. The event also offers a bundled spectator ticket option for the Jerome Classic in July that provides savings on that entry.
