Event overview
The Great Trek takes place on the University of British Columbia campus at the Herbarium and Main Mall in Vancouver, BC, Canada. The event offers multiple race distances and a Hat-Trick combo.

Race entry includes a race bib with timing chip, drinks and post-race food, gear check, and pacers provided by RUNVAN. Race results and a leaderboard are published after the event.
Entry options include a limited shirt or glove option, or a "GREEN BIB" to skip the race giveaway and slightly reduce registration fees. Medals are available for all finishers of the 21.1KM, 10KM, and 5KM events, including green-bib participants.
Package pickup is held race week only at Forerunners Main St over four days; there is no race-day package pickup. Registrations are non-refundable and non-transferrable under RUNVAN race policies.
The event supports the BC Children's Hospital Foundation and has raised CA$6,536.06. Bundling a spectator ticket to the Jerome Classic in July offers an entry saving. Participants can earn a Grand Slam prize by completing the four RUNVAN events in the same calendar year. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
